CTR on New Years Night

After having dinner with my cousins, relative and family .I went home and check my CTR, surprisingly, there is a click to my blog .

So there is no assumption just because it's about Holiday, you will never get click on adsense.

My target for 2011, still doing my affiliate marketing, drive more traffic to my blogs, sharpen the keywords, and making back links to sites to generate more unique visitors.

I have 1 blog that having steady traffic per day around 300-400, if i were to remember that it took almost from November 2008 up to March 2009, writing article content with full meaning, and doing blog walking almost 6-8 hours a day.So my traffic now is very decent, need only to improve the layout to get more CTR.

If CTR are considerately minimum according to some Internet Marketing practical experience is 10%.If you get lower than that, that means you still have to work hard....

Now all I have to do is make money from Clickbank,CPA etc.

Practically I am not doing anything to that blog, yet traffic is constant.I am now focusing on other blogs as well to rinse and repeat.

Keyword Research

Another ball game with playing SEO on/off pages.The reason behind this , is making your content with high paying keywords are not always promising with high clicks, although many top SEO strategic can have some good income.

I learn SEO from different Master, one master taught me to find Niche that competition in between 50-60% tight, and other Master saying you must go for the highest competition.

In this study case there is no wrong or right answer, the outcome results is the answer.Another way is making long tail keywords, to beat the competition, some says using the 4 long tail keywords can get you good CTR.

Well since the progress of Google crawl, is more randomly, nobody can guarantee anything, when Google is using real human to check blogs, last year there was a big slash on Adwords player, and many stop platying PPC, since GOogle wants real company to bid not Internet Marketing flourishing the Internet.

The results many PPC players stop, when you can't beat on top curve of Google game. Sad to hear, but that is reality.

So back to square one, doing Internet Marketing, with Old School, free traffic, making content, etc, quiet tedious job I might say, but show must go on.

I hope the Internet marketing is not dead yet , when we know the competition is getting heavier every day.

Have been doing Internet Marketing since almost 2 years now, remembering my first call to note that this is my first blogging experience in this blogger community.

Here are the summary of my path learning experience.

1. Taking SEO Course

2. Blogging Course

3. PPC Course,

Only three courses, and other software I bought on my path as Internet Marketing.Also writing content with high paying keywords, taking PHP, HTML Courses.

Got my first online income, then stagnate the progress for almost a year, by doing the "wrong way" of Internet Marketing.

After 2 years of trial and error, finally I came back to circle of learning, where you are start to gain all over again, and everything you read and exercise becomes so clear.

Hoping that my next Internet Marketing in 2011, will become more clear, as the path of my journey more focuses on niche and methodology of Internet marketing.

I found that persistence, trial and error is your best teacher, although I have local and overseas mentor, the best teacher is your practical experiences in dealing obstacles.One thing that holds my progress, still I can not focus 100 % on online,since I am still working day job 9 - 5.

My wishes if next year I can get 4 to 5 figures /month in US $, then I could do more concentrations, the problems I have to pay bills for monthly with current online income is far from needs!

So a big challenge awaits.

Thank you so much for this great community, oh yeah by the way, for some people who are new to this business, 2 years in online marketing is like having 10-15 years in offline, since the competition is so tight and fiercely

Only people that have strong motivation, discipline and strong focus will survive.This is not for dabblers.

Most interesting when you were downloading e-book, the first impressions were thinking that Internet Marketing were so easy to catch money, unfortunately it's not. Many scams to realised it was a Black Hat SEO or White Hat SEO.

I started as local affiliates in Indonesia only, with free e-book, then got my first affiliate links and so happy to promote trough Yahoogroups and Googlegroups. The most prominent website, and turn out in vein.

I had no knowledge what was SEO all about, taking that 2 months of promoting the wrong way. So I jump to buy another programme Niche Inspector and HYPERVRE, I thought it was easy, honestly it's not, too many sales pitch inside.

You know what a sales pitch?

It is something that the owner of software or programme can hook you deeply that ultimately at the end you have to buy his software, yes that's right, the man is guiding his spider web, to catch newbies like us. From that day, I don' t want to buy another programme or software, finally I took mentor class on SEO organic, after taking the course, everything was so clear. Now I have my site no 1. Google search engine although in Indonesia, yet the niche is competitive but at least I have a path or method to do SEO the right way.

My advise to newbies for Internet Marketing don't get scam like me, before you wasted your money, I advice you to take good mentor and will save a lot of trouble.

Today the author would like to share his experience in this week marketing daily life . After remove to a new Pumps Division for almost 1 month, found many clarifications on correspondence either from manufacture and or to clients were basically biased or you can say "screw up", if you ask me about this? Honestly speaking I also don't know what happen, since I am new to this department.

I believe the systems in correspondence were missed out of target based on the following reasons :

1. Lacking of Sales Application Engineer
2. The incumbent person implementing Sales and Commercial is not having technical qualifications back ground.
3. Lacking manpower to do daily's sales and operation.

Since the management trusted me to carry out and assist the department, my main target firstly is fixing the internal communication between us. Secondly educating and motivating the SAC persons to know more of Pumps technical background as to smooth the daily operation.

Third developing market analysis, comprising forecasting, potentials customer, new projects and follow up on technical side.

Sounds easy isn't it ? No it's not, it is a multi task force job that I have to carry out.I am not complaining, I love challenge.

In this topic, I share the "Marketing by Motivation", it's a words put it or inject to yourself that you have this enormous energy to do all the above stuff, if the readers are known to NLP or hypnotherapy,this is one of the case study to put into practice.

Although this marketing task is difficult, I am optimist that I can put the team on the sucess level by end of this year.

The idea in this area is not about concept, it's about motivation in marketing campaign to all customer, branding with the product knowledge into the mind share of potentials customer.

It is the same concept in Internet Marketing, though you are working yourself, you are competing with yourself, it's difficult, but challenging isn't it?

You don't know how far your progress, you can only know within your soul. It's like a mind saying "I am tired,but the other mind says "I have to keep pushing to the limit", it is mind power.

This is the key success in marketing either online marketing or offline marketing.

Working as Sales and Marketing nowadays becomes a rat race in the marketing world competition. Do you know why? As the world prevailing recessions the world manufacture has to keep their margin on steady 20% or elsewhere they will loose the real profit. In conjunction to the Oil per barrels above US$100, lightly this new trends economic will hit the end user and the manufacture like domino effect.

Basic pricing for raw materials as were booked by Western countries can not compete the rising China to becoming the new Super Power in Economy. Unlikely Western manufacture has to maintain their annual booking on raw materials i.e. casting or forging or they will loose the grip from Chinese manufacture.

Description above is only basic what is happening today's in Oil and Gas Industry from manufacture perspective. I believe anyone can figure that out easily. Now let's get back to the discussion effect on Internet Marketing. Briefly I will start from the topic of working offline as Sales and Marketing. Since the manufacture principal is hungry for existing market and try to catch new project in Oil and Gas development, this will effect the competition, likewise their competitor is in same boat. Subsequently they are pressing the Sales and Marketing Division or department as you may like to call it, to be updated on new projects and to be leader in the field market before the competition stars. From all the prospective customer, we have almost more than 100 clients. It is impossible to do traditional sales call, where the company is squeezing their operation budget to minimize cost to maintain their profit. Luckily we have Internet connection in this millennium. Yet I believe, practising a social phone calls to 100 customer then follow it up with email introduction seems to be quite effective, you can narrow the effort to customer trip.

This email marketing campaign could generate quick response and very effective as to target the right person, If the key persons is to be found then follow up action for visiting customer is required.

On the other hand Internet Marketing is more likely to have space, it does not effecting any margin, opposites wise software or e-books can be increasingly impact from fuel price increment due to the cost living and finally it will effect to the price of electrical and Internet connection. Yet the opinion on Internet Marketing still viable and prospects is there .

If by any chance you can play around on Google search engine, millions of website to be found with different keywords. This is basic knowledge of Internet Marketing if they want to build websites, first find the niche market and search the lesser competitor.

Marketing Seminar

Hi,
Today this morning I spent on marketing seminar held by one of Indonesian top Internet Marketing, the gentleman name is Mr. Deny Hendrawan, having experience in Marketing Offline industry for 15 years, and 4 years experience in Online business.

What I like about this seminar, the way he describe the module marketing is very simple and effective and quick action attitude.

I study IM by myself for the past 4 months, and believe me being self maid is very difficult and not having the right teacher to guide a step by step mentoring and detail would end up in a futility.

As he explain that he also have 5 gurus, 3 from overseas and 2 from Indonesia, and very costly indeed to achieve the maximum results.

Mr Deny is specialize in semi online if I would say, in the meanings he has a real product to promote and advertise, his focusing in property .

He develop websites on his owns until top of page Google search engine, what I like about his techniques in SEO is, he doesn't write article or put posting on forums or mailing list as overwhelmed like many marketing people that I know.

He uses his own online experience in SEO to get where he would be on top of Google Search Engine.

Come to think about it, his right why should spend many hours in front of your computer to gain traffic and lost precious times with your families.

His teachings and motivation to participants is inspiring for quick result programme but not a quick rich scheme which I am not impressed if he said so in his seminar.

This time I want to share the experience of my first day as involved in Internet Marketing, I was electrified when reading Sales Page from somebody I do not know in my inbox, claiming to be wealth and prosperous in short notice. I respect their effort to promote their websites, although sometimes the ethics conducted is unethical, using spam, or spider crawler.

The second day I started to think and join one of affiliation, though not having websites, with high hopes and spirit, I do promotion to free ads, pay ads, even news paper, forums, groups, I was doing it for the whole 3 weeks in a row, working on it 4 hours a day, and at the end the result was disappointment.

The problems when promoting in forums, groups or mailing list, in the forums, they are also promoting same stuff, in the groups they only allowed to promote on certain area, mailing list is the worst once you join certain mailing list the moderator will have restriction, no ads, no promo, no MLM network. It becomes more frustrating.

But I didn’t loose my focus, I started to buy e-books and study step by step, and tried various things, this e-book is good, but if your going to take tutorial step-by-step, it will become more time consuming.

At last I had enough of reading about SEO, Traffic Engine, etc, then I realized that making your own blog or sites and fill it up with your own content is worth more value and will also educate our soul.

My internet marketing mentor also said the same thing, writing article with our own content is wise though take time to build links but it will build strong foundation.

Forums for Newbies

For newbie’s on INTERNET MARKETING business, the first thing must know is about the promotion. Advise should be taken care on the low cost budget, or zero cost promotions until it makes real results.

Using the forums is a good way to educate and use it for free promotions for newbies, even if no experienced at all.

By all means, reading the forums on the first week, with 2-3 hours a day, also getting to know and play around the features on the websites forums takes time until you really feel at home.

Second step after reading and received educations from forums, note down important things. Subsequently practice it at your level of understanding. This will take another week.

After experiencing the INTERNET MARKETING practice at the level you really understand, go back to the forum and seek for the topics which is not too heavy for you and after reading it thoroughly, try to respond. Prior to respond you must becareful, watch out for reply or responds from other members. Or you will be embarrassed posting same thing or reply, I have seen in forum, where a person received complains being ignorant to other members reply.

Keep up reading new topics, updated your skills, even if your progress per day is only a slice pie, but it’s good to have real progress rather than get yourself burned.

Keep yourselves healthy, workout or do meditation. Be a positive thinker and attitude.

Building links to your website is like building image to yourself. There is no way building a mountain in short time.

News Paper Vendor Kids

I have been living in Jakarta, Indonesia almost all my life, though when I was a kid I spent my primary school in Monterey, California, USA. Looking at the infrastructure between established countries is different from Less Developing Countries, what attracts me to write this article is about kids selling newspaper in the intersection of almost every road in Jakarta. From dawn till night time these kids as I may say, a very dedicated sales person, knocking to every car stopped at red-light traffics, one thing I forgot to describe nowadays population car in my town is overwhelmed, traffic jammed is everywhere as by profession my professional as Salesman always makes me on the road to visit customer.

Kids whom sell newspaper is no different than myself, they are exposure under any weather fore cast, mentally they are tough, promoting newspaper, magazine etc, similar almost like website without even complaining. These kids mostly drop out from school, their age varies from 9 to teenagers. Considering the fact that I finish my University degree, I felt how lucky I am.

The fact remains on so many question why do they do this job? The answer is simple they can’t afford to go to school, their parents came from poverty. Still they have discipline, motivation to work and self pride not to become beggars.

Learning from their lives, and self promotion from these kids, I think as a Salesman though I received many pressure from the management, compare with them, my burden is nothing, I still received monthly salary, these kids if they can’t make a selling, they don’t eat, as simple is that.

Hopefully this article can motivate people who is starting their Internet Marketing, can be mentally strong to face the fierce competition in this field area.
