Hi,
Today the author would like to share his experience in this week marketing daily life . After remove to a new Pumps Division for almost 1 month, found many clarifications on correspondence either from manufacture and or to clients were basically biased or you can say "screw up", if you ask me about this? Honestly speaking I also don't know what happen, since I am new to this department.

I believe the systems in correspondence were missed out of target based on the following reasons :

1. Lacking of Sales Application Engineer
2. The incumbent person implementing Sales and Commercial is not having technical qualifications back ground.
3. Lacking manpower to do daily's sales and operation.

Since the management trusted me to carry out and assist the department, my main target firstly is fixing the internal communication between us. Secondly educating and motivating the SAC persons to know more of Pumps technical background as to smooth the daily operation.

Third developing market analysis, comprising forecasting, potentials customer, new projects and follow up on technical side.

Sounds easy isn't it ? No it's not, it is a multi task force job that I have to carry out.I am not complaining, I love challenge.

In this topic, I share the "Marketing by Motivation", it's a words put it or inject to yourself that you have this enormous energy to do all the above stuff, if the readers are known to NLP or hypnotherapy,this is one of the case study to put into practice.

Although this marketing task is difficult, I am optimist that I can put the team on the sucess level by end of this year.

The idea in this area is not about concept, it's about motivation in marketing campaign to all customer, branding with the product knowledge into the mind share of potentials customer.

It is the same concept in Internet Marketing, though you are working yourself, you are competing with yourself, it's difficult, but challenging isn't it?

You don't know how far your progress, you can only know within your soul. It's like a mind saying "I am tired,but the other mind says "I have to keep pushing to the limit", it is mind power.

This is the key success in marketing either online marketing or offline marketing.

Hi,
Working as Sales and Marketing nowadays becomes a rat race in the marketing world competition. Do you know why? As the world prevailing recessions the world manufacture has to keep their margin on steady 20% or elsewhere they will loose the real profit. In conjunction to the Oil per barrels above US$100, lightly this new trends economic will hit the end user and the manufacture like domino effect.
Basic pricing for raw materials as were booked by Western countries can not compete the rising China to becoming the new Super Power in Economy. Unlikely Western manufacture has to maintain their annual booking on raw materials i.e. casting or forging or they will loose the grip from Chinese manufacture.
Description above is only basic what is happening today's in Oil and Gas Industry from manufacture perspective. I believe anyone can figure that out easily. Now let's get back to the discussion effect on Internet Marketing. Briefly I will start from the topic of working offline as Sales and Marketing. Since the manufacture principal is hungry for existing market and try to catch new project in Oil and Gas development, this will effect the competition, likewise their competitor is in same boat. Subsequently they are pressing the Sales and Marketing Division or department as you may like to call it, to be updated on new projects and to be leader in the field market before the competition stars. From all the prospective customer, we have almost more than 100 clients. It is impossible to do traditional sales call, where the company is squeezing their operation budget to minimize cost to maintain their profit. Luckily we have Internet connection in this millennium. Yet I believe, practising a social phone calls to 100 customer then follow it up with email introduction seems to be quite effective, you can narrow the effort to customer trip.
This email marketing campaign could generate quick response and very effective as to target the right person, If the key persons is to be found then follow up action for visiting customer is required.

On the other hand Internet Marketing is more likely to have space, it does not effecting any margin, opposites wise software or e-books can be increasingly impact from fuel price increment due to the cost living and finally it will effect to the price of electrical and Internet connection. Yet the opinion on Internet Marketing still viable and prospects is there .
If by any chance you can play around on Google search engine, millions of website to be found with different keywords. This is basic knowledge of Internet Marketing if they want to build websites, first find the niche market and search the lesser competitor.
Judging from offline marketing and Internet Marketing it is always the same concept, do research on your Sales potentials or Niche Market research for Internet Marketing.
